You haven't missed anything, but you will if you don't try this wonderful wine. It is a pure New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, which gives all the formality that made these wines a global success. With one small difference, however. A wine from New Zealand that lists a variety on the label, may indeed be from that variety at a rate of 85% or more. The minds at Villa Maria saw that Sauvignon Blanc is doing better and better, but, at the same time, they know that rosé wine is on the rise. So, they made a checkmate move: they took an excellent Sauvignon Blanc and made it blush a little, blush is when we blush our cheeks, with the addition of a little, 10%, red wine from Merlot. We expect the result to disappear from our warehouses quickly! Disarmingly juicy and expressive, with aromas of red fruits, balanced, very smooth and refreshing taste.
