Sandeman Ruby Porto. In the 17th century, some British merchants added a quantity of grape distillate to preserve the Portuguese wine they brought to Britain. And so, by chance, porto was born. But in Sandeman Ruby, a truly world renowned porto, nothing is accidental. Since 1790, the best local grape varieties have been mixed and aged for at least three years in oak barrels to produce a deep red, fruity and fresh port. It goes well with dessert and cheese, but you can enjoy it even better plain, with ice or in a frozen shot. You will definitely recognize it by Don's mysterious shadow on the bottle, with the characteristic cape and Spanish hat. It is the second most recognizable Sandeman symbol, after its quality.
